Internet – Available in the barn but as always, guard by having exv. all your own music offline (downloaded, USB stick or MP3 player etc).

Power outages – difficult to protect themselves against and happens fortunately extremely rarely. Some lights in the barn have battery and help you find out etc. If you want to be fully guarded, also bring a "mobile" speaker system (beach stereo), then you can drive on for up to 8 hours on built-in batteries.

Water and sewage – Water we take from our own well and are not dependent on the municipal system would get interruptions.  Should the power go yes then we too will have to give up. As a rule, you have carbonated water with and other things to drink, but the dishes may have to wait until the next day. The drain continues to operate to some extent (but difficult to flush fresh without extra water).
